Face to Face Counselling

Most people are familiar with this type of counselling as it is the most traditional method used. I offer face-to-face counselling and psychotherapy from my comfortable therapy room in Hale.

As with most types of therapy, we would generally meet on a weekly basis at a pre agreed time. These sessions would enable you to explore various aspects of your life and discuss your feelings in relation to them. I would also encourage you to talk about these freely and openly in a way that is rarely possible with friends or family. Often bottling up feelings such as anger, anxiety, grief and embarrassment can become very intense and cause further stress and anxiety.

I offer a safe space for you to explore any issues you may have more fully, always with the possibility of making them easier to understand and work through at a pace that suits you.

By looking at your options openly, it can help you decide how best you move forward. Meeting on a weekly basis gives you the time in-between each session to reflect on what we've talked about and decide on what's important for your next session.
