About Me

Hi my name is Lindsay. I am an experienced counsellor/psychotherapist and registered nurse.
I provide a range of easy to access counselling platforms for young people and adults from my private practice in Hale, Cheshire, as well as working for a national organisation called Kooth, providing online counselling for young people. Finally I'm a health and wellbeing expert for several local lifestyle magazines for whom I write a column for.
My work is wide ranging, however some of the key areas of counselling and psychotherapy I specialise in are: Stress, anxiety, depression, self-harm, bullying, self-esteem/self worth, eating disorders, anger, loss and bereavement, family dynamics & relationship issues such as communication problems, conflict, affairs, divorce, separation, loss of intimacy, post natal depression, trauma, LGBT and identity issues.
I am qualified to Masters level as an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. I am also qualified in CBT techniques. My practice is guided by the person centred approach. I offer short and long term therapy. I am friendly, personable and always professional in my therapeutic practice.
My clients value the anonymity and confidentiality I offer through my professional practice. I am registered member of the BACP and adhere to their strict professional code of ethics. I am fully insured and regularly update my skills and qualifications through CPD training days.
