About me

Hi, my name is Lindsay. I am an experienced counsellor / psychotherapist and registered nurse. I am also currently working towards ICF coaching accreditation.

Easy access to online counselling and psychotherapy

I provide a range of easy to access counselling & psychotherapy platforms for individuals, couples and families from my private practice in London. In addition I regularly contribute to podcasts for BBC sounds, radio, national press and media platforms and advised as a health and wellbeing expert for several local & national lifestyle magazines, for which I previously wrote a regular column.

My work is wide ranging, however some of the key areas of counselling and psychotherapy I specialise in are: Stress, anxiety, depression, self-harm, bullying, self-esteem/self worth, eating disorders, anger, loss and bereavement, family dynamics & relationship issues such as communication problems, conflict, affairs, divorce, separation, loss of intimacy, post natal depression, trauma, LGBTQi and identity issues.

I am qualified to Masters level as an integrative counsellor and psychotherapist. I am also qualified in CBT techniques. My practice is guided by the person centred approach. I offer short and long term therapy. I am friendly, personable and always professional in my therapeutic practice.

My clients value the anonymity and confidentiality I offer through my professional practice. I am registered member of the BACP and adhere to their strict professional code of ethics. I am fully insured and regularly update my skills and qualifications through CPD training days.

What my clients say

I have referred clients going through the separation process to Lindsay for many years. Initially, Lindsay was recommended to me by a well-known accredited family mediator who had worked with separating couples alongside Lindsay. The mediator was very positive with her feedback, so on that basis I began referring our clients to her, feeling reassured that she was a safe pair of hands.

Those going through a challenging separation process often need emotional support, and I have received positive feedback from clients about Lindsay.

I have met Lindsay on several occasions. She has spoken at a seminar I organised for family lawyers on how to support separating couples, and she has been a guest on My Family Pod, which is my firm’s podcast series aimed at those going through relationship breakdown.

I would not hesitate in recommending Lindsay.
