Coaching for Clarity, Confidence & Sustainable Change

Coaching for Clarity, Confidence & Sustainable Change

Coaching offers a practical, forward focused space to help you think clearly, make confident decisions, and move towards meaningful change, without needing to be “in crisis”.

I am a level 1 ICF coach, working towards my accreditation. I am also an experienced Masters trained psychotherapist, and trained general nurse. I combine professional rigour with warmth, insight, and a deep understanding of human behaviour. My coaching is reflective, grounded, and results oriented, supporting you to move from a place of feeling stuck to feeling more positive, more purposeful, more capable and ultimately more in control of your life.

Who Coaching Is For

Coaching may be right for you if you are:

  • Feeling stuck, overwhelmed and lacking direction in your personal or professional life
  • At a career or life crossroads
  • Stepping into a new role, responsibility, or leadership position
  • Experiencing a transition in your life
  • Feeling capable, but held back by self‑doubt, stress, or overthinking
  • Wanting better boundaries, balance, or resilience at work
  • Looking to perform well without burning out
  • Seeking clarity, direction, or renewed motivation
  • Experiencing symptoms of burnout, e.g. fatigue, insomnia, low mood.
  • Finding it hard to motivate yourself
  • Feeling like you've lost your identity or sense of self and or self worth
  • Wanting to be a better version of yourself but unsure how to get there

Coaching is not therapy, and it doesn’t focus on diagnosing or treating mental health conditions. Instead, it supports growth, insight, positive thinking and action in the here and now.

How We’ll Work Together

Coaching sessions are collaborative, structured, and tailored to you. We may focus on:

  • Clarifying goals and priorities
  • Exploring limiting beliefs and unhelpful patterns
  • Strengthening confidence and decision‑making
  • Managing pressure, stress, or change more effectively
  • Developing sustainable strategies that fit your life and values
  • Developing a sense of accountability and self worth

Sessions are thoughtful and challenging, as well as encouraging and supportive. You will leave feeling lighter, have more clarity, insight, and know what your practical next steps look like.

Coaching with Depth and Integrity

  • My background as a nurse and psychotherapist means I bring:
  • A high level of ethical awareness and professionalism
  • Strong skills in listening, reflection, and emotional intelligence
  • Sensitivity to complexity, nuance, and the realities of modern life
  • I am professional, practical, reliable, ethical and accountable in my practice.

My coaching is future‑focused, goal‑oriented, and aligned with the International Coaching Federation (ICF) principles and competencies.

Both coaching and therapy offer supportive, confidential conversations - but they serve different purposes

Coaching

Coaching is forward‑focused and goal‑oriented. It supports people who are functioning well but want greater clarity, confidence, performance, or direction.

Coaching typically focuses on:

  • Goals, growth, and future direction
  • Career, leadership, or life transitions
  • Confidence, decision‑making, and resilience
  • Performance, balance, and work‑related challenges

Coaching does not involve diagnosis or treatment of mental health conditions.

Therapy (Counselling / Psychotherapy)

Therapy provides space to explore emotional difficulties, past experiences, and mental health concerns that may be affecting wellbeing or daily functioning.

Therapy typically focuses on:

  • Emotional distress, anxiety, or low mood
  • Relationship difficulties and attachment patterns
  • Past experiences, trauma, or loss
  • Understanding and healing psychological pain

Which Is Right for You?

If you’re feeling stuck but not unwell, and want practical support to move forward, coaching may be the right fit.

If you’re experiencing ongoing emotional distress or mental health concerns, therapy may be more appropriate.

As a qualified psychotherapist and professional coach, I’m happy to help you talk this through to ensure you’re accessing the support that best meets your needs.
